PRI exists to solve the critical issues facing our clients, both large and small. Our unique approach to understanding the development and humanitarian sectors and to finding real-world solutions is not only what differentiates us but also what makes us successful. We provide a broad range of services and solutions anchored on a deep understanding of contextual challenges to help organisations facilitate change, achieve their vision, and optimise performance and productivity.
RESEARCH
We conduct short- and longer-term research projects focused on legal, economic, social, and environmental issues. We use a highly participatory, bottom-up approach to collecting original data, and our team has considerable experience developing data collection approaches and tools that target difficult-to-reach populations.
POLICY ANALYSIS
We engage in both descriptive and prescriptive policy analysis. Our work caters to the needs of government agencies, as well as international and non-governmental organisations. Our multidisciplinary background allows us to analyse a variety of subjects, as well as explore each subject from a variety of angles.
TRAINING
We conduct training in a variety of fields, such as legislation, protection issues, information collection, and data analysis. Our training is designed to meet target groups' specific needs and is highly participatory; this helps ensure that participants are actively engaged and able to identify with the material.
EVALUATION
We perform monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tasks for donors, international organisations, and non-governmental organisations. We pride ourselves on using a human rights-based approach, as well as mechanisms to ensure the evaluation process is equitable. Our goal is to provide our clients with a useful product based on reliable data and sound analysis.
CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT
We engage in capacity development activities in a number of areas: for example, project management, project planning, and protection. We use the existing knowledge base as a point of departure and personalise our efforts to local contexts and experiences, helping ensure that our efforts are user-driven from the start.
STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSIONS
Members of the PRI team are located all over the world, and we use technology to actively engage as a team on a daily basis.
For each task, we conduct roundtables or team task seminars, in which we present and discuss project objectives, developments, and findings. This process allows us to benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of the whole team.
